The Word Of The Day Is “Give up “
Most people see the word Give up and they immediately picture quitting on something.
When entrepreneurs with a dream for owning a business hear the word give up they sometimes think of giving up something in pursuit of your dream .
But some entrepreneurs with a dream for owning a business also think that quitting or giving up is not a good leadership quality. If you start something you must finish it.
However, when I hear the word give up, I picture what is holding me back from becoming the person I want to be.
Here are some surprising thoughts about the word give up when it comes to increasing sales, building a business, especially if you really want to transform your wildest dreams into your everyday reality giving up, is not bad:
If your goal is to lose weight, then maybe you want to give up eating fatty fast food and limit sugar intake.
If your goal is to start a business but you have limited time, then maybe you can give up leisure time or sleeping in order to work on your dream.
In Kobe Bryant’s book, the Mamba Mentality, Kobe Bryant said that he wanted to be great at basketball so he needed to train. However, Kobe was not willing to sacrifice family time with children to be great in basketball. Instead, Kobe sacrificed sleep. He would choose to spend time with children, then after they were asleep, then Kobe would go train.
Here’s the big takeaway for you: the goals you have will require you to give up things. Make sure you are giving up on items that you will NOT regret in the future. .
